The"AI +Education"era has placed higher demands on the information literacy of foreign language teachers in higher edu-cation.In this paper,foreign language teachers coming from four universities in Lanzhou City were selected as the research objects.The questionnaire method was used to explore the current information literacy status of foreign language teachers in universities from five as-pects,namely,AI information awareness,AI information knowledge,AI information skills,AI information ethics and AI information liter-acy training.The results of the study show that the AI information awareness and ethics of foreign language teachers in universities are good,but the AI information knowledge is scarce,and the integration of AI technology and foreign language teaching needs to be strengthened.Accordingly,this paper puts forward the information literacy promotion strategies of foreign language teachers from four as-pects:cultivating AI awareness,constructing AI teaching mode,improving AI moral literacy,and strengthening AI information literacy training,aiming at realizing the in-depth integration of AI technology and foreign language teaching.
