摘要

随着社交媒体的广泛普及和深入发展,社交媒体极大地丰富了人们的线上生活,例如微博、微信及抖音等社交媒体在受众的生活和工作中得到较广泛的应用,同时也改变了人们的交流方式。然而,在当今数字化浪潮中,人们的生活工作大多被手机屏幕里的虚拟标记所充斥,人们将情感、经历等交付于社交媒体,越来越倾向于追求瞬时与碎片化的快感,这种快速获得的满足感让更多人逐渐变为技术的奴隶,在一定程度上失去了独立思考和深度反思的能力,同样,过度连接带来的平台问题、隐私顾虑等困扰不断显现,不仅给用户带来了消极的使用感受和情绪影响,同样也使得用户主体性受到一定的影响,不同年龄段的部分群体对社交媒体产生倦怠,媒介倦怠现象愈发成为人们关注的热点话题。
本文依托美国传播学者乔舒亚·梅罗维茨的媒介情境理论,采用参与式观察法、深度访谈法和文本分析法的研究方法,聚焦90后群体,深入探讨基于媒介情境理论下,在微信朋友圈构建的社交场景中影响社交媒体倦怠现象产生的重要因素。文章首先依照媒介情境理论分析三要素之间的关联以及该理论下社交场景的动态演化过程,接着从社交功能、社交关系和原生广告三方面描绘微信朋友圈构建的社交场景,之后采用开放式问卷对周围普通民众进行深度访谈,针对访谈资料的分析发现,社交过载、信息过载、朋辈压力、感知负荷、原生广告和自我认知这六个社交媒介倦怠影响因素。基于以上的研究结果对朋友圈社交场景构建下媒介倦怠现象提出反思,网络使用的自控力、网络社交的自我保护以及受理性思维驱使的使用意愿有利于用户过滤杂乱信息,减轻泛社交带来的压力,重拾社交主动权,做技术的主人。

英文摘要

With the widespread popularity and in-depth development of social media, social media has greatly enriched people's online life. For example, social media such as Weibo, WeChat and Tiktok have been widely used in the life and work of audiences, and have also changed the way people communicate. However, in the current wave of digitalization, people's lives and work are mostly filled with virtual tags on mobile phone screens. People deliver emotions, experiences, and more to social media, and are increasingly inclined to pursue instantaneous and fragmented pleasure. This rapid satisfaction has gradually made more people become slaves to technology, losing their ability to think independently and reflect deeply to a certain extent. Similarly, the platform problems and privacy concerns brought about by excessive connectivity continue to emerge, not only bringing negative user experience and emotional impact, but also affecting user subjectivity to a certain extent. Different age groups are tired of social media, and media fatigue has become a hot topic of concern.
This article relies on the media context theory of American communication scholar Joshua Merowitz, and adopts research methods such as participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and text analysis to focus on the post-90s generation. It delves into the important factors that influence the phenomenon of social media burnout in the social context constructed on WeChat Moments based on the media context theory. The article first analyzes the correlation between the three elements and the dynamic evolution process of social scenes under the theory of media context. Then, it describes the social scene constructed by WeChat Moments from three aspects: social function, social relationships, and native advertising. Then, an open questionnaire is used to conduct in-depth interviews with the surrounding ordinary people. Based on the analysis of interview data, it is found that social overload, information overload, peer pressure, perceived load, native advertising, and self-awareness are six influencing factors of social media fatigue. Based on the above research results, this paper reflects on the phenomenon of media burnout under the construction of social scenes in social circles. The self-control of online use, self-protection of online socializing, and willingness to use driven by receptive thinking are beneficial for users to filter out cluttered information, reduce the pressure brought by pan socializing, regain social initiative, and become the masters of technology.
