As a large state-owned construction company, Shanxi Construction Group has the qualifications and capabilities for general contracting of project planning, design, manufacturing, construction, and service integration. However, the production and operation situation in the past three years has been extremely severe, with increasing market and capital pressures, and its corporate development strategy The lack has seriously affected the market competitiveness of enterprises. Based on the perspective of the entire industry chain, this paper studies the construction of Shanxi Construction Group's development strategy, helping Shanxi Construction Group to define its core competitiveness and gain a competitive advantage in the current competitive market environment.
Based on the theories of corporate strategy, core competitiveness and marginal competition, this paper studies the whole process of constructing the development strategy of Shanxi Construction Group. In the research method, the literature research method and case analysis method are mainly used, and the analysis tools used mainly include the PEST model, the five forces model, and the VRIO model. Construct the development strategy of Shanxi Construction Group according to the research ideas of finding problems-analyzing problems-countermeasures analysis. The content of the development strategy mainly includes: determining the strategic objectives from the three dimensions of technology, management, and talent cultivation; determining to grow into a service provider for the full production line and full life cycle of the metallurgical construction industry, the strategic positioning of a modern city green service provider; target market selection Taking modern city green service business as the main development direction, while optimizing the iron and steel metallurgical engineering business line, supplemented by engineering supporting business; geographical selection is at the domestic level, relying on Shanxi, deepening in the Shanxi market, building brand advantages, and expanding to neighboring cities , And gradually extended to the whole country. At the foreign level, fully tap the potential of the various regional markets covered by the “Belt and Road”, and fully follow up with the countries and regions supported by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank; the arrangement of actions is centered on the selection of target markets, and specific development strategies for three main businesses are proposed. As well as urban construction strategies and energy conservation and environmental protection strategies; determine its industrial chain integration and technical advantages, brand advantages and corporate culture as the core competitiveness of the company; in addition, additional risk management committees and audit committees are added to reform the corporate organizational structure and governance model.
