摘要

在全球化的市场背景下,供水行业作为社会基础设施的支柱,正面临着前所未有的挑战。由于水资源的独特性和珍贵性,供水企业不仅肩负着提供稳定、安全水源的重任,还必须在应对日益增长的用水需求的同时,不断优化自身的运营管理以提升竞争力。库存管理,作为确保供水连续、降低运营成本、提高服务效率的关键环节,其重要性在现代企业运营中愈发凸显。本文以福康供水公司为研究对象,通过文献研究和案例分析,结合访谈、问卷调研及现有数据,深入剖析了其库存管理现状。研究发现,福康供水公司在库存管理上存在“牛鞭效应”显著、库存成本高昂、供应链协同不足等问题,这些问题主要源于供应链管理系统信息协同的欠缺、库存控制策略的简单化,以及供应商管理和合作意识的薄弱。因此,从供应链管理的视角出发,优化库存管理策略对于供水企业乃至整个行业的可持续发展至关重要。

本文针对基于供应链视角下福康供水公司库存管理提出了优化库存管理控制策略、加强供应链协同、构建内外信息共享系统等以提升决策准确性,以及引入VMI系统管理模式以加强供应商合作。为确保优化方案的顺利实施,本文还制定了详细的实施计划和保障机制,涉及组织、文化、人才、技术、财务等多个方面。

本文的研究不仅为福康供水公司提供了具体的库存管理优化策略,也为同行业其他企业在库存管理改善方面提供了有益的参考和帮助。通过实施这些优化策略,企业有望降低库存成本,提高运营效率,从而在激烈的市场竞争中获得更大的竞争优势。同时,本文的研究也进一步丰富了供应链管理理论在库存管理领域的应用,为未来的研究提供了新的思路和方向。

英文摘要

In the context of globalization, the water supply industry, as a pillar of social infrastructure, is facing unprecedented challenges. Due to the uniqueness and scarcity of water resources, water supply companies are not only responsible for providing stable and safe water sources but also must continuously optimize their operational management to enhance competitiveness while meeting the growing demand for water. Inventory management, as a critical component in ensuring continuous water supply, reducing operational costs, and improving service efficiency, has become increasingly prominent in modern enterprise operations.

This study focuses on Fukang Water Supply Company, employing literature review, case analysis, interviews, questionnaire surveys, and existing data to delve deeply into its inventory management practices. The research reveals several issues, including a significant "bullwhip effect," high inventory costs, and inadequate supply chain coordination. These problems stem primarily from deficiencies in supply chain management system information coordination, simplistic inventory control strategies, and weaknesses in supplier management and cooperation.

Therefore, from the perspective of supply chain management, optimizing inventory management strategies is crucial for the sustainable development of water supply companies and the entire industry. This paper proposes specific optimization strategies based on a supply chain perspective, including refining the traditional ABC classification system to optimize inventory structure, establishing a supply chain information sharing system to improve transparency, incorporating demand forecasting and analysis processes to enhance decision-making accuracy, and introducing the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system to strengthen supplier collaboration.

To ensure the smooth implementation of these optimization plans, this paper also outlines a detailed action plan and support mechanisms covering various aspects such as organization, culture, talent, technology, and finance. The research not only provides Fukang Water Supply Company with concrete inventory management optimization strategies but also offers valuable insights and assistance to other companies in the same industry seeking to improve their inventory management. By implementing these strategies, enterprises can potentially reduce inventory costs, improve operational efficiency, and gain a significant competitive advantage in the fiercely competitive market. Additionally, this study further enriches the application of supply chain management theory in the field of inventory management, paving the way for future research directions and ideas.
