医疗是民生保障的重要一环。我们每次谈及死亡的话题都免不了染上沉重的色彩，也习惯了粉饰死亡的大团圆结局。在关于生命的议题中，医生的职业身份被潜移默化地推向了神坛，与大众认知逐渐产生了距离。传媒该如何客观呈现医生与患者的形象，促进二者的相互理解，如何对医疗类纪录片进行叙事，怎样的叙事能够引起观众共鸣，产生对当下医疗环境、医患关系和社会现象的深层次思考，这些问题成为了制作优质医疗类纪录片必须要思考和研究的问题。本文尝试通过对中国与英国医疗类纪录片的叙事进行对比，探索中英两国在医疗类纪录片的叙事上是否存在相似性。

本文首先界定了相关概念，并系统地阐述了理论基础，同时梳理了国内外的相关研究，了解了研究现状，概述了研究方法。通过对中国和英国的医疗类纪录片的发展历史和现状进行了疏理、概括进行纵向的叙事对比分析。再通过选取同是聚焦于产妇婴儿的中国医疗类纪录片《生门》和英国的《Baby Surgeons: Delivering Miracles Season 1》（下文称为《婴儿外科医生实录第一季》）进行横向的案例分析和对比分析，归纳并对比了两部纪录片的叙事特点并总结其异同及成因。在案例分析的基础上讨论我国医疗类纪录片叙事上可以进行的经验借鉴，并为其发展提出一些建设性的启示。

在数字媒体技术高速发展的今天，我们不仅要考虑到健康传播的路径，还要考虑到如何叙事，选择怎样的叙事主题，聚焦什么样的叙事主体，以何种叙事结构进行展现，怎样的视听组合更能引起观众的情感共鸣，要在这个内容为王的时代，充分运用大数据分析技术对健康传播的内容进行更加全面的掌握，在叙事策略上有更深层次的认识，依旧是一个值得研究的课题。

Medical care is an important part of livelihood protection. Every time we talk about the topic of death, we can't help but tint it with a heavy color, and we are also used to whitewashing the happy ending of death. In the topic of life, the professional identity of doctors has been subconsciously pushed to the altar and gradually distanced from the public perception. How should the media objectively present the image of doctors and patients, promote mutual understanding between them, how to narrate medical documentaries, and what kind of narrative can resonate with the audience and generate deeper thoughts on the current medical environment, doctor-patient relationship and social phenomena, these are the questions that must be considered and studied for the production of quality medical documentaries. This paper attempts to explore whether there are similarities in the narratives of medical documentaries between China and the UK by comparing the narratives of Chinese and British medical documentaries.

This paper first defines the relevant concepts and systematically elaborates the theoretical foundations, while combing through the relevant research at home and abroad, understanding the current state of research and outlining the research methodology. A longitudinal comparative narrative analysis is conducted by de-constructing and outlining the history and current status of medical documentaries in China and the UK. By selecting the Chinese medical documentary "This Is Life", which also focuses on maternity and babies, and the British documentary "Baby Surgeons: Delivering Miracles Season 1", the two documentaries' narrative characteristics are summarised and compared, and their similarities and differences and causes are summarised. On the basis of the case studies, we discuss the experiences that can be drawn from the narrative of medical documentaries in China and offer some constructive insights for their development.

Today, with the rapid development of digital media technology, we need to consider not only the path of health communication, but also how to narrate, what kind of narrative theme to choose, what kind of narrative subject to focus on, what kind of narrative structure to present, and what kind of audio-visual combination can better arouse the emotional resonance of the audience. In this era of content being king, it is still a topic worth studying to fully utilise big data analytics to gain a more comprehensive understanding of health communication content and to gain a deeper understanding of narrative strategies.
