"Hua'er" folk songs refer to folk songs popular in Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and other regions, composed by Han, Tibetan, Hui and other ethnic groups, and sung in local Chinese dialects. The traditional "Hua'er"is an important carrier that reflects people's spiritual life, and it carries the imprint of cultural integration. Minxian "Hua'er" is unique because of its simple and simple tune structure. It maintains the characteristics of "one tune in a thousand years". Compared with other singing areas, it has the characteristics of original ecology. In addition, due to historical and geographical reasons in Minxian County, there are many kinds of folk beliefs in this area, which provides a sufficient dissemination field for the "Flower Fair" that traditionally relies on temple fairs. In terms of form of expression, the traditional interactive singing of mountains and rivers of the Minxian "Flower Club" has developed into a wider official stage. The development of "Hua'er" folk songs is closely related to the progress of media technology. Changes in the social environment also affect the inheritance of folk songs. Modern communication technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to the inheritance and development of folk songs.
The "Ritual View of Communication" proposed by communication scientist James Carey, Carey interprets the changes to people after communication information is sent out from the perspective of cultural studies, emphasizing that through the transmission of cultural information, the use of ritualized cultural forms to bring people together , to achieve collective identity and cultural sharing.
This paper uses the methods of field investigation and unstructured interviews to obtain data, and through the analysis of the participants, communication methods, communication fields, and ritual rules in the singing process of "Hua'er" in Minxian County, it is concluded that "Hua'er" in Minxian County Singing brings people together to share stories and express emotions, achieve personal self-expression and group identity, and more because multi-ethnic participation in singing has formed ethnic exchanges and cultural sharing. The changes of modern communication technology have brought new media communication fields for Minxian "Hua'er", but also brought development difficulties. This paper summarizes the difficulties in Minxian "Hua'er" communication, and proposes solutions according to the current situation. It is hoped that it will be helpful for the protection, dissemination and inheritance of "Hua'er" in Minxian County, and to inherit traditional culture and protect cultural diversity.
