摘要The semi-deep lacustrine shale in Ansai oil field has strong lithological heterogeneity. It includes four different types: shale, sandy shale, sandy laminated shale, and thin tight sandstone. The contribution of different rock types to the formation of shale oil is not clear. Moreover, the influence of different rock types on the occurrence of shale oil also lacks exploration. In this research, a comparative study based on geochemical analysis was carried out to resolve these challenges. The source rocks in the study area are moderately mature. There is a fine match between TOC and different rock types. The highest Total Organic Carbon content (TOC) is noticed in the shale, followed by sandy shale. In contrast, the lower TOC content is measured in the sandy laminated shale. The type of organic matter in most shale samples and sandy shale samples mainly comprises type I and type II1-II2 kerogen, respectively. In contrast, the type of organic matter in sandy laminated shale changes greatly. The hydrocarbon generating capacity of source rock is shale > sandy shale > sandy laminated shale. In the vertical distribution, the migration of oil and gas from the thick source rock is difficult relative to the thin source rocks. During the migration of hydrocarbons, the saturated hydrocarbons can easily migrate relative to non-saturated hydrocarbons/asphaltene. For instance, C-27 regular sterane relative to C-29 regular sterane and small molecular compounds relative to macromolecular compounds can easily migrate. The higher hydrocarbon expulsion efficiency is related to the higher content of saturated hydrocarbon compounds and the lower non-hydrocarbon and asphaltene compounds. Many geological factors may cause the difference in hydrocarbon expulsion. However, the differences in porosity and permeability are probably the most important factors affecting hydrocarbon expulsion.
