摘要	Public sign is an important window of the city to the outside. The quality of public signs translation is of great signifi?cance for the image of a city. Considering the severe situation of public signs translation of most of cities in our country, this pa?per aims to propose the translation strategies of public signs based on Functionalist Theory.
